The Calvin and Hobbes hardcover box set consists of three full-color volumes (1,440 total pages) contained in a sturdy slipcase. The paperback box set is divided into four volumes. Both collections include includes every Calvin and Hobbes cartoon that ever appeared in syndication, from its initial publication in 1985 to Bill Watterson’s retirement in 1995. The cartoons are illustrated in either black and white or color, depending on how they were first published.

If you’ve always wanted to add this timeless classic to your collection, or you want to introduce this delightful series to someone who’s never had the privilege of experiencing it, I’d definitely recommend jumping on this deal. Both the paperback and hardcover editions are well-made, but currently, the paperback set is slightly less expensive.
