Erick Crawler Gamescom, the world’s largest video game convention, officially starts on Wednesday in Cologne, Germany. For the rest of the world, Gamescom starts virtually on Tuesday, with a major games (and entertainment) livestream called Gamescom Opening Night Live, hosted by The Game Awards emcee Geoff Keighley. This year’s Opening Night Live starts Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 2 p.m. EDT/11 a.m. PDT and can be watched on Gamescom’s YouTube and Twitch channels, and at The Game Awards’ YouTube and Twitch channels.
