Amazon Reveals a New Beyblade X Secret Showdown Event Alongside an Exclusive Preorder

Hasbro and Amazon are coming together to bring a new Beyblade Tournament event to Atlanta next week. The Beyblade X Secret Showdown tournament event will be taking place at the Atlantic Station on Saturday, September 6. According to the event details, the top two qualifying Bladers will earn a trip to California on September 17 for a live-streamed finale.

Alongside this upcoming tournament, Amazon has launched a preorder for the BX-10 Tournament Beystadium. This Beyblade X arena will be featured in early battles at the event and will be officially released on November 1, 2025. This is an authentic Takara Tomy-designed stadium and is currently priced at $49.99.

Event Details

The Beyblade X Secret Showdown is an exclusive 18+ tournament event. Registration for the event will take place at the Atlantic Station on September 6 between 1PM and 2PM ET with the event itself to follow between 2PM and 4PM ET. Participation is capped at a total of 100 Bladers and you need to be a U.S. resident to be eligible to compete.

Participants will only use tops for the Beyblade X toy line and will be competing for a chance to advance to the finale event on September 17. You can find more information about the event directly from the Beyblade website.

Is Beyblade Making a Comeback?

As someone who only remembers Beyblade as a popular toy in the early 2000s, and from the original animated series, it’s certainly surprising to see the name once again. These rising levels of popularity likely aren’t too surprising to anyone already entrenched in the competitive scene, however. Just last year the Beyblade creators jokingly talked about the spinning top battle game becoming an Olympic sport.

A newfound interest in the game has seemingly been spurred by the latest Beyblade X toyline that launched in 2023. Alongside this launch was a new Beyblade X manga series and an anime series that are still ongoing. This has brought a new generation of Bladers to the scene for the first time since Beyblade Burst back in 2016.
